Design a green building is not news anymore and always more and more architects and designers are requested to do so. The philanthropist Michael Bloomberg has established his new green Head Quarter offices in London and what is making it so famous is the title of “world’s most sustainable building”. There is a high design of green innovations in this building and surely outstanding energy efficiency system. However, critics from outsiders debate the title of “world’s most sustainable building” comparing with other structures design it for the green and sustainability.

Green futures design it in the European Bloomberg Head Quarter diversified from water conservation to integrated ceiling panels or from smart natural ventilation to energy efficiency. The title achieved as the “world’s most sustainable building” is caused for its super high score 98.5 earned from the BREEAM test. BREEAM states for Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method and is the longest certify method assess the sustainability of a building seen 1990.

In spite of that, criticism has raised from the web because of few details to considerate that most of the people probably ignored. For example, there are a combined heat power engines that supply the building system for reducing the carbon emission. The same combine heat power plant works by burning fossil fuel in order to generate that heat. Also, the smart natural ventilation system is a bit awkward in a city like London where air quality is the worst between other cities on Earth.

Over than that, headlines have been made through the comparison of other green building around the world design it in a sustainable way. Such as the Bullitt building in Seattle with solar power engagement from a ground heat pump and the PowerHouse in Kjørbo just outside of Oslo for energy efficiency with material construction.
